The sterile INFINEED 1-way infuser with photoprotective UV filter with Y site, DEHP-free and BPA-free has been designed to minimize its environmental impact, using exclusively raw materials free of endocrine disruptors (elimination of components containing DEHP or BPA).
Infuser with:
- Dual Channel Perforator
- Air intake: Delivered closed for immediate pocket use - 0.2µm filter.
- Chamber: Flexible and translucent - Calibrated at 20 drops = 1ml ± 0.1ml - 15µm anti-particle filter.
- Caster: Precise and reliable, linear flow regulator.
- Tubing: Translucent yellow DINCH PVC designed for comfort and optimal adjustment regularity and to avoid kinking.
- Terminal tip: Mobile Luer Lock.
- Terminal cap: Equipped with a purge filter with anti-bacterial membrane.

Contact with 0.5% or 2% Chlorhexidine in 70° Isopropyl alcohol, without evaporation time, and while the luer lock is connected, therefore under physical stress, presents a significant risk of cracking of the luer lock, and should be avoided as much as possible.
In accordance with the recommendations of the SF2H (2019) and Didactic's disinfection protocol, it is always preferable to disinfect the connectors (when necessary) with 70° ethyl alcohol followed by a mandatory drying time of 15 secondes at least before connecting. 70° ethyl alcohol is just as effective disinfecting inert materials and then reduces the risk of altering plastic materials.
Indications
This device allows the administration by gravity of parenteral injectable preparations: drugs, solutions, parenteral nutrition, photosensitive drugs.
On the peripheral route, the infusion line can remain in place for a maximum of 96 hours (i.e. the maximum duration of installation of the peripheral catheter).
